Welcome! This site is dedicated to my Lil Red Truck … and to its previous owner: My Dad.

In addition to his regular job, my Dad maintained some rental properties that my parents owned. Because of that, he needed a vehicle to haul around ladders, tools, paint, etc. For many years he used a series of old “beater” station wagons. But then one day my Mother noticed this truck for sale in a residential driveway. She took my Dad to see it, and he fell in love with it.

While it did haul some stuff over the years, it never really became a “work” truck. Instead, he took it to cruise nights on a few occasions and in general just had fun with it.

When my Dad’s health began to fail, he stopped driving the truck but kept it for me.  I, too, “love” the truck, but not nearly as much as I loved my Dad. I miss him so much, but every time I drive this truck I think of him.
